Hotdata is building the execution layer for agentic data access.

Agents need to search, query, cache, join, and create context while they work. Hotdata pulls together databases, warehouses, lakes, files, and SaaS applications behind one low-latency API.

With Hotdata, agents can create instant databases on demand, load files like Parquet directly, query immediately, cache subqueries, replay history, and tear everything down when the task is complete.

Under the hood, Hotdata is built in Rust on Apache DataFusion and Apache Arrow. The engine brings SQL, analytics, vector search, full-text search, geospatial queries, document data, time-series data, and hybrid retrieval into one execution environment.

That means teams can build AI-native applications without stitching together a warehouse, vector database, search engine, cache, job runner, and custom orchestration layer for every use case.

We are building Hotdata because the next generation of applications need data infrastructure that is fast, composable, ephemeral, and designed for agents from the start.

The founding team has spent decades building, optimizing, and operating data platforms at scale.
